I was born on the east coast of the U.S. and spent my early childhood held captive at a British school on the island of Malta.  It was there that I started to paint and knew I wanted to be an artist.  

Over the years, I've painted canvas, wood, drumkits, old guitars, the floor of a former loft, closet doors, a bathroom mural, clothing, hats, furniture, lamps, lampshades, footstools, rocking horses, rocking chairs, an old wooden ironing board, picture  frames.. and even shoes.  I love collecting bits, pieces and objects that capture my eye and spark ideas for use in an art piece.  

Pushing paint around is very soothing for me.  My family, art, music, a sense of humor - these are what get me through this life.  Art has always been what saves me.  Without it I would be utterly lost.
